CQC at the Vancouver Pride Parade – Sun Aug 4

Connecting Queer Communities marches in the 2024 Vancouver Pride Parade!

Connecting Queer Communities (CQC) will be continuing to celebrate the 2024 Pride Season by having our very own entry and marching in the 2024 Vancouver Pride Parade on Sunday, August 4th!

We’ll start by meeting at 10:00am as a group at the Safeway Parking Lot at Broadway & Commercial.

Once we’ve all gathered together, we’ll take the Skytrain together downtown, take a bus, then walk down to our starting point for the parade in the West End.

We’re then going to march in the Pride Parade in our very own entry, wearing our CQC t-shirts and carrying our CQC banner. The Parade is about 2 – 3 hours long, and it’s a lot of walking. It will end nearby Stadium Skytrain station.

At the end of the Parade there will be many booths, vendors, food trucks, sunshine, and entertainment. Wear your CQC t-shirt if you have one, and register your spot to join us! Also be sure to wear sunscreen! We’re asking folks to bring money for transit to meet us at the Safeway Parking Lot at Broadway & Commercial, and some money for food if you want to eat or drink while we’re at the end of the Parade.

If you need help getting to our meet up spot at Safeway Parking Lot at Broadway & Commercial, you need us to arrange for a mobility device for you, or if you need ASL interpretation, email kelsey@real-talk.org.
