CQC at Surrey Pride – Sat. June 22, 2024

Connecting Queer Communities heads to Surrey Pride to kick off Pride Season!

Connecting Queer Communities (CQC) will be starting off the 2024 Pride season by heading over to Surrey Pride. We’ll start by meeting at Commercial-Broadway Expo Skytrain station as a group at 3pm in front of the A&W. Once we’ve all gathered together, we’ll hop on the skytrain and head to Surrey Central Station, where Surrey Pride is being held just down the skytrain steps at Surrey Civic Plaza. There will be booths, vendors, food trucks, sunshine, and amazing entertainment. Wear your CQC t-shirt if you have one, and register your spot to join us! Also be sure to wear sunscreen!

For this CQC event, we’re asking folks to bring fare for the skytrain ride, as well as some money if they want to buy food or drinks at the event. If you need help getting to our meet up spot at Commercial-Broadway Expo Skytrain, or you need ASL interpretation, email kelsey@real-talk.org.

What to bring: Skytrain fare, money for food or drinks if you want some, sunscreen, and your CQC t-shirt if you have one!
